Synopsis:

The Summer of "Anu": In a summer once every five years, demons in the mysterious Tower of Druaga lose their powers due to the magic spell cast by a god named "Anu". King Gilgamesh, ruler of the kingdom Uruk, uses the appearance of demons as an excuse to invade the tower and find out the construct's secrets. As 80 years passed, the Uruk army managed to fight back the demons and built a fortress city and safe haven on the very first floor of Druaga - Metz Kier. Thus begins the story of a warrior named Jil who, finding companions along the way, embarks on a quest for the fabled Blue Crystal Rod, a powerful artifact rumored to be in the highest floor of Druaga. However, other competitors, including the kingdom of Uruk itself, want the treasure, all for their own reasons. here is another season that is coming called Druaga no To - The Sword of Uruk

Just finished this a few days back. It was a good experience... not really one of those those action-packed fighting animes having fight scenes like in Bleach or other great fighting anime... but it does have some good things going for the show and some of the jokes are pretty funny. The ending was something I didn't predict, but that was about the line I thought... problem with the show probably was it wasn't what I expected, which is an anime just based on fighting. But it did some good points going for the show... it wasn't really that bad, but it was an anime that I didn't have the urge to watch the next episode.

This is by far one of the best spring season animes this year. If you've ever played the game you will see many references to the old NES Tower of Druaga. Overall the the plot of the anime is very good, except for the second and third episode (they were quite boring in my opinion). The first episode was awesome, even if you don't feel like watching this anime, I highly suggest you watch the first episode.

my review of this one is that this series had "try hard" comedy themes, which wasn;t really funny and they tried to make it funny, and it was just ordinary "hero adventure" anime
so i watched it up to ep 4 and dropped it
