rmvb mirror?

Greetings...

this is my first post in baka-wolf.. so please be gentle with me.. hehehe

well guys, lately i've been converting my bamboo blade series (mostly downloaded from here big thanx for the link guys) into RMVB format, the file's size is around 80-90 MB, with decent picture quality.
Do you guys think is it okay for me to put up the mirrors here?

if its ok, then i'll upload them to free file hosting service such as mediafire, momupload, or divshare, but worry not! i'm not going to upload them to RS or MU (hate the waiting periods hehehe )

I dont really think there is a need here cause if there are people who wants rmvb format animes , they could go to realityLAPSE[.com]__' - Your #1 source for Anime media

And i do hope that BW only host Good quality animes so that they can also ne famous for their quality animes. And I've never really seen a rmvb encoded anime with decent quality.

Agreed. rmvb typically has terrible quality, and most English subbing groups don't touch it (at least not on first release, maybe after lots of requests). The only merit I see is low file size, and most people on this forum, I think, prefer quality. You'd be hard pressed to find rmvb subs on torrents as well (excluding Chinese subs of course, most of which appear to be rmvb). As most sub distros don't do rmvb, it would mean more work for the BW crew, which may go to waste as most people here don't watch rmvb anyway.

well, he did say he encoded it and would like to upload here from him. He's not requesting BW to do it(BW probably won't anyways unless he donates $100, lol)

But i still think it's a waste of time doing so sodon't waste your efforts karpo.

i don't really mind but i don't think anyone would like to touch rmbv files...

rvmb can be encoded well enough to easily rival quality of avi's. the problem is there exists maybe like 6 people on this planet that know how, and actually do it. and they all use 56k XD

if a small file mirror were to exist, i would rather see encodes in ogg. theora/vorbis is great at making quality encodes with smaller size
