Acer bastard go to hell

Alienware is way too pricey, you can build for less than half the price. Plus they have gone downhill as of late. My desktop is an HP, it was relatively cheap for the stuff that came with it, I would have built but I needed something ASAP for school. Even though I got one of their higher end models I swear it was for school!!

I have the newest Alienware, bought about 2 months ago. You basically pay 1k more for the case and flashy lights with alien logos on it.

i mean in term of laptop, these are my choice since you can't build a laptop at least I can't. I would never get myself an Alienware, since I too think they overcharge their product (or maybe is the fact I never like Dell's line-of-product). But, in term of desktop, i too prefer building one.

FYI, if you are building a pc, I highly recommend Asus and evga mb. In fact, i am planning to build one with Asus Maximum Gene III mb + core i7 @ 2.66 + ssd hd. Also, I highly suggest getting a cheap laptop while having a high end desktop that is if you play games or watch HD anime/movie. Getting a high-end laptop (like a mac) is not worth it since I don't like carrying around an expensive laptop around where I could easily damage it or get stolen. Plus, you can't upgrade a laptop but you can do it on a desktop, which you can expand it lifespan, which is why I have a cheap Toshiba laptop I got it on Black Friday for $300 with dual core amd + 2gb ram. although I can't play games on it since the video card can't support any recent games, but I can at least watch hd video.

overall, if you prefer having a desktop and a laptop, get the cheapest laptop that you can use it for school or etc and have a good desktop for games/hd movie/etc.

hm... most ppl i ever ment rant on toshiba... maybe its good idea to swap to toshiba for GOOD

i never had to deal with customer service even with the large numbers of computers and laptops i have. i even have two acer laptops :P

either i can fix the problem myself or it is too old and not worth the effort
