So after not having bought a new Aria volume for a few months and after receiving the gift of love (i.e.- Aria the Animation box set) I went to the Barnes and Noble website to see when I could get my next new Aria manga fix, but Aria vol. 5 wasn't listed. 'No big deal,' I thought, going away from the site, 'I'm just early, it'll be there later.'
---A whole lot of checking and later later---
Today it came to mind that I should probably look into why this nonsense is happening, so I go around and eventually find this with Aria vol. 5 listed at the top of canceled stuffs. Naturally I'm pissed off because I had originally thought that with the anime being pushed out in English by Right Stuf and all that this showed support for the series being brought tomeEnglish-speakers via an official way. However, after a teensy bit more searching I find THIS. For those of you who don't want to bother reading through the whole thing Tokyopop marketing director Marco Pavia said that orders for Aria vol. 4 came in much higher than projected (based on previous sales). Now, why would Aria vol. 5 be behind schedule coming out if the previous volume had even higher orders than projected? They should be ecstatic and throwing more people at the project despite layoffs after vol. 4 came out.
Now, can anyone else make heads or tails or even anything of this nonsense?
