With Kotoko it goes back to that old cheesy saying "If it weren't for bad luck, you would have no luck at all" The first part didn't do much to draw me into the story, I was tempting to hit the stop button. But the ending brought hope that this will turn out to be a good series to watch. Can't wait for episode 2!

the manga is pretty old. if you compare the art of the manga to the animation of the anime, you should be pleasantly surprised. i didn't appreciate the animation until i saw how ugly/old school the manga was. however, even if it wasn't pleasing to my eyes, i still read the manga and thoroughly enjoyed it. i guess this is the case where the plot keeps you addicted even though you can't stand the art.

episode 1 was awesome. i was surprised you guys had some karaoke and i greatly appreciate it. i love kotoko in the anime.

I'm not sure I like the style of animation used for this series. Then again, I wasn't fond of the shapes of the characters' heads in Myself; Yourself (don't laugh at me), but that turned out great. Half of the cast is annoying and I already am wishing for some vengeance on Irie. The beginning was a bit slow, but the end of the episode was enough to raise some interest in episode 2, so I'll keep watching for a few episodes to see how this unfolds a bit. No real opinion as of yet.

yeah the beginning was slow, and I agree that we need to watch a few episode to have a better opinion.

The first episode did do an acceptable job in setting the atmosphere, though.

I am not really interesting about this anime, oh well coz I don' really into shoujo anime

I really liked it, usually it takes an anime 3-4 episodes to capture me, but this seems really interresting, looking forward to the next episode :)

ep1 was great but the art is little different then the manga. i hope the anime follow the story of the manga cuz i love the manga!

Im with you on this one, it takes a few eps to draw me in to a new series. But the way episode 1 turned out i don't think it'll work for me. I guess i'll have to wait and see.

Well, I like the artwork and the Kotoko's character design as well.
